A woman in her 50s is in serious-to-critical condition this morning, the result of a hit-and-run accident Sunday night in the Washington Park neighborhood, police said.
At about 10 p.m. Sunday, a vehicle struck the woman in the 5300 block of South Payne Drive and kept going, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines.
The woman was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious-to-critical condition, Gaines said.
No further information was available.
