A Metra passenger train has struck a car that apparently slid onto tracks in Bensenville. Bensenville Fire Battalion Chief Larry Karp says the car slid on ice about 7:30 p.m. Friday and came to rest between two sets of tracks. He says a train coming into the Bensenville station clipped the car, injuring three adults inside.
Karp says those three were taken to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. He says two other people were checked at the scene.
