A man was killed when a car rolled over in a backyard early in southwest suburban Bolingbrook early Sunday.

Police said officers were dispatched at 1:52 a.m. for a single-vehicle accident at Pembrook and Lindsey lanes.

According to reports, officers arrived to find a black 2000 Nissan "lying on its side in the backyard of a residence (in the 900 block of Pembrook) with one individual trapped inside and unresponsive."

He was identified as Orlando Roberto, 27, of Wayne and was pronounced dead at the scene by a deputy Will County Coroner at 3:53 a.m.

Police said responding officers also "observed a 28-year-old man running from the scene and stopped him." The man was taken to Adventist Hospital in Bolingbrook where he was treated for minor injuries.

Police said the traffic unit has reconstructed the crash, which was still being investigated Sunday night.

"It is undertermined who was driving at this point," police said.Initial reports indicate the Nissan is registered to Roberto's father. An autopsy on Roberto is scheduled for today.
