Chicago authorities say nine people were injured -- four seriously -- in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 290 near the city. Chicago Fire Department spokesman Quention Curtis says all nine, including three children, were taken to area hospitals. Four, including one child, were transported in serious-to-critical condition.The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday. Illinois State Police say all lanes of traffic opened just after 6 p.m. The agency was investigating the incident but did not immediately have any additional details.
