Seven people were injured in a Far North Side motor vehicle accident, according to the fire department.
The accident happened near North Sheridan Road and West Granville Avenue, Fire Media Affairs Chief Kevin MacGregor said.
One person was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical and two others were taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston --all in serious condition. Four people who suffered minor injuries were also taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital, MacGregor said.
Unconfirmed dispatch reports indicate the crash happened about 12 p.m.
Polic could not immediately provide information.
