Ten people suffered minor injuries Sunday morning following a three-vehicle crash on the Kennedy Expressway at Jackson Boulevard, according to Illinois State Police.
Although the victims' injuries were minor, state police said, they were transported in fair-to-serious condition. Two of the them were sent to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the rest to Stroger Hospital, said Chicago Fire Department Chief Kevin MacGregor, a Fire Department spokesman.
The crash happened shortly before 10 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the Kennedy (Interstate Highway 90/94) at Jackson.
There were temporary lane closures as a result of the crash.
